Loan Officer
First State Community Bank in Ironton is hiring a motivated loan officer with a positive outlook and strong work ethic.
As an FSCB lender, you will be a connector. You’ll connect people to the loan solutions that are specifically designed to fit their needs. You’ll help start new businesses, help a family buy their very first home or even help someone establish credit. You connect people to what’s possible.
For many, you’ll be their go-to person for financial advice and expertise. Our best lenders are a mix of practicality and flexibility, who know how to use the right tools to create lasting relationships.
Responsibilities
- establish, develop and maintain relationships with key partners in the community
- administer good, quality loan portfolio consisting of consumer, real estate and commercial loans
- coordinate interaction between borrower and all other parties involved, keeping customers updated throughout the process
- understand all compliance aspects of lending — HMDA, RESPA, Fair Lending, Reg B, Reg O, Flood Determination, Reg Z, CRA, etc.
- stay informed on all compliance aspects of banking — BSA, privacy, OFAC, security, Reg CC, Reg DD, Reg E, Patriot Act, etc.
- proactively communicate with account holders with loans in arrears
Requirements
- college degree preferred
- strong decision-making skills
- keen attention to detail
- prior sales experience preferred

Loan Processor
Come be part of a growing community bank! America’s Community Bank in Blue Springs is seeking an experienced loan processor. This full-time position is responsible for assisting with the processing of all loan types and supporting the lending team to ensure a smooth and timely loan process.
Responsibilities
- prepare and review loan documentation for a variety of consumer, residential and commercial loans
- order and review appraisals, title work and flood determinations
- process loan renewals, modifications and payoffs
- review and process construction loan draws
- maintain accurate loan files
- ensure compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- 2+ years of loan processing experience required
- strong understanding of loan documentation and procedures
- high attention to detail and organizational skills
- ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently
