Mid America Bank is hiring a loan processing manager to lead its loan processing department in its Wardsville branch. This position is ideal for an experienced banking professional with strong loan knowledge, management experience and a passion for coaching employees and improving processes.
The loan processing manager will oversee the people, processes and systems supporting consumer, residential and mortgage, commercial, agricultural and real estate lending. This leader will work closely with lenders and other departments to promote accurate, efficient and consistent loan processing across the bank.

Responsibilities
- establish, develop and maintain relationships with key partners in the community
- administer good, quality loan portfolio consisting of consumer, real estate and commercial loans
- coordinate interaction between borrower and all other parties involved, keeping customers updated throughout the process
- understand all compliance aspects of lending — HMDA, RESPA, Fair Lending, Reg B, Reg O, Flood Determination, Reg Z, CRA, etc.
- stay informed on all compliance aspects of banking — BSA, privacy, OFAC, security, Reg CC, Reg DD, Reg E, Patriot Act, etc.
- proactively communicate with account holders with loans in arrears
Requirements
- college degree preferred
- strong decision-making skills
- keen attention to detail
- prior sales experience preferred
