  • understand all compliance aspects of lending — HMDA, RESPA, Fair Lending, Reg B, Reg O, Flood Determination, Reg Z, CRA, etc.
  • stay informed on all compliance aspects of banking — BSA, privacy, OFAC, security, Reg CC, Reg DD, Reg E, Patriot Act, etc.

Branch Operations Manager

This position manages the workflow in the operations area of the bank to allow for individual and team success in the accomplishments of their group/individual goals. The branch operations manager assists in problem resolutions for customers and reviews difficult transactions submitted to the bookkeeping department.

Responsibilities

  • supervise the work and daily activities completed by the operations staff within the branch
  • review and edit a branch schedule to ensure the branch is properly staffed at all times
  • open and cross sell accounts (checking, savings, safe deposit boxes, CDs, IRAs)
  • verify that Customer Identification Program (CIP) information and Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC) verifications are completed correctly
  • keep up-to-date on the teller platform to handle customer transactions at the teller window when needed
  • oversee vault cash, verify amounts received, monitor and audit drawers on a routine basis in adherence to bank procedures
  • actively cross-sell bank services by making quality referrals that develop new customer prospects and business for the bank

Requirements

  • bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent experience
  • two years’ experience in a financial setting
  • prior supervisory, coaching and leadership experience highly preferred.
  • previous cross-selling and sales experience preferred
  • basic knowledge of the bank’s products, services and operations policies preferred
  • working knowledge of the bank’s departmental operations, policies and procedures preferred

Loan Processor

The loan processor is responsible for assembling proper loan documentation for loan packages created within the bank. Responsibilities include reviewing loans to ensure that acceptable credit standards are maintained and loans conform to established company policies, interacting with a diverse group of customers and working with internal contacts at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • organize pending loan files and keep a list of items needed for all in-progress loans
  • set up and maintain files for current and paid off loans
  • ensure loan information is complete and accurate before processing
  • prepare commercial and residential real estate documentation for Vienna loan processors to type
  • ensure that Customer Identification Program (CIP) and Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC) verifications have been completed correctly
  • assist loan officer by pulling credit reports, preparing loan requests for various committees and board of directors 
  • types loans as requested by loan officer

Requirements

  • one year prior experience in a financial environment preferred
  • prior experience with loan application software, policies, procedures and documentation preferred
  • ability to perform loan analysis and cash-flows as directed by loan officers
  • basic knowledge of the bank’s products and services preferred
  • prior experience in a customer service environment preferred
