Commercial Lending Officer
United Bank of Union is hiring a commercial lending officer to develop and support the bank’s lending activities. The ideal candidate will possess prior commercial lending experience, a strong credit/risk management background, a record of successful business development and a desire for continued professional development.
Responsibilities
- identify and cultivate new commercial lending and deposit opportunities through networking, referrals and community involvement
- analyze client needs and recommend appropriate loan products
- review loan requests, credit history and financial statements to perform a detailed analysis to determine whether proposed applications meet lending criteria
- prepare proposed credit memos, including recommendations for loan pricing and terms, and receive concurrence from the credit approving officer/s before proceeding with in-depth client negotiations
- represent the bank at community events and business functions to enhance visibility and build relationships
Requirements
- bachelor's degree in finance, business administration or related field (or equivalent experience)
- minimum 3-5 years of commercial lending experience in a banking environment
- proven track record in business development and portfolio management

Finance and Business Analyst

Responsibilities
- compile, analyze and interpret company financial and operational data and results to provide meaningful information to management and drive business decisions

- participate in new initiatives and upgrades for company software platforms, operating systems and reporting modules

Requirements
- bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field
- 4+ years of financial analysis, accounting or related experience required

Compliance Auditor

This position requires a critical thinker with a keen interest in providing necessary audit services for the community banks in Missouri, Nebraska, Illinois and Iowa. This position, which requires about 5% of traveling, provides an opportunity to work with a diverse group of client banks in a collaborative, professional consulting culture.
Responsibilities
- provide compliance reviews to customer banks to evaluate compliance with regulations applicable to the customer’s audit request
- examine bank records and interview staff to ensure proper procedures are maintained to comply with all applicable regulations relating to the customer’s audit request
- compile compliance review workpapers with sufficient information to support compliance review findings
- communicate compliance review findings by preparing a final report, discussing findings with customer banks
- keep abreast on current banking regulations and related changes/updates
Requirements
- bachelor’s degree in accounting related field or 5+ years of experience in banking/compliance/audit
- knowledge of regulatory compliance as it relates to banking/compliance/audit
