Responsibilities

  • operate and maintain mainframe computer system and online peripheral equipment
  • test and implement programs, backups and print jobs as scheduled and assigned
  • work with the bank’s third-party IT vendors to help manage day-to-day functionality
  • monitor the overall operation of the bank’s computer systems for safety and performance
  • perform required computer maintenance and monitors system backups 
  • monitor mainframe utilization to ensure efficient storage capacity and effective memory utilization
  • help manage the bank’s IT program with the help of an MIS Committee 
  • recommend changes and updates to the bank’s IT policies and procedures
  • complete the bank’s annual IT risk assessments
  • function as internal consultant to assist information systems staff in solving complex problems
  • manage the evaluation, implementation and support activity for the bank’s internal information processing systems and services, including all software, hardware and related equipment 
  • determine and evaluate the bank’s current and future technology, communications, security and information needs
  • oversee equipment, software systems and computer supply purchase recommendations to the board to support the bank’s overall business activities
  • work with IT examiners and auditors to ensure processes and procedures are followed 
  • mitigate examination and audit findings through the development and use of exam and audit tracking reports
  • prepare IT reports for the board of directors

Requirements

  • bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, economics or related field; MBA, JD, CFA, CPA, or CFP preferred
  • proven track record of success in private banking or wealth management, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in a leadership role
  • deep understanding of the needs and preferences of high-net-worth clients, along with a demonstrated ability to develop and deliver tailored solutions
  • strong business acumen, with the ability to translate strategic vision into actionable plans and initiatives
  • strategic thinker with a creative mindset, capable of identifying and capitalizing on opportunities
  • sound knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices
