Commercial Lender
O’Bannon Bank in Fair Grove is hiring an experienced commercial lender to develop, evaluate and manage commercial loan portfolios while building strong business relationships within the community.
Responsibilities
- identify, pursue and secure lending opportunities with new and existing commercial clients
- develop strong relationships with business owners, real estate investors and community partners
- promote the bank’s services to support business growth in the market
- manage an active commercial loan portfolio, ensuring ongoing credit quality
Requirements
- bachelor’s degree in finance, business, accounting or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3-5+ years of commercial lending or credit underwriting experience
- strong understanding of commercial lending products, credit analysis and loan structuring
- ability to analyze complex financial data and assess risk

Responsibilities
- perform file reviews of assigned requests to ensure complete information
- communicate with loan officers to discuss missing information, questions and any other loan structure suggestions or concerns
- generate loan reports for the monthly board meetings
- track loan reviews accurately and in a timely manner
Requirements
- bachelor’s degree in accounting or financing or five years banking experience in loans or credit analysis
- strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- perform duties under frequent time pressures with a high degree of accuracy

Loan Officer
PSB Bank in New Melle is hiring a motivated, customer-focused loan officer to join its thriving community bank. This individual is responsible for developing new business and underwriting, structuring and closing of loans, as well as maintaining and servicing an existing portfolio. The loan officer represents the bank in the community through active participation in community affairs and participates in marketing the bank’s products and services.
Responsibilities
- solicit loans and inform prospective clients of the financial institution’s underwriting guidelines and applicable government regulations
- negotiate terms and structure loan financing based on risk consideration and present credits for approval to appropriate levels of authority with the bank as required
- complete each loan application and all pre-processing functions in a timely manner to meet established guidelines
- monitors an existing loan portfolio to ensure proper risk ratings and early identification of potential problem
- supports the bank’s relationship banking culture through ongoing customer contact, quality customer service and superior product knowledge
