FAME: Fostering Advocacy and Meaningful Engagement

The FAME Awards recognize MBA-member banks that achieve specific advocacy goals throughout the year. Banks that participate in MBA advocacy activities will qualify to enter the Hall of FAME and will be recognized at MBA’s Executive Management Conference in December.

2025 FAME Honorees

MBA honored 31 banks with an MBA FAME Award on Dec. 4, 2025, at its Executive Management Conference in St. Louis.

FAME Qualifications

To qualify, banks must participate in at least five of the following activities.

• contribute to a regional PAC or FedPAC
• host a meeting with lawmaker(s) in-district
• send at least one staff member to a Target Banker visit in Jefferson City
• name an advocacy officer at your bank
• attend an MBA Washington, D.C., trip
• provide MBA with a list of elected officials you know personally or have a connection
• assist in other legislative efforts to promote the banking community, such as:
  • testifying on a bill
  • submit testimony online
  • helping analyze legislation
  • serving on MBA’s government relations or PAC committees
  • send a comment letter on a federal regulatory proposal
  • other
