MBA encourages bankers to contact Missouri Sens. Claire McCaskill and Roy Blunt to support the Financial Regulatory Improvement Act. This financial reform proposal was introduced by Senate Banking Committee Chairman Richard Shelby, R-Ala. The bill includes several regulatory relief provisions that would enable banks of all sizes to better serve their customers. Letters from bankers are needed to build momentum for the bill to reach the Senate floor later this year.

MBA's Legislative Action Center is a simple way to contact Congress. A pre-written message has been prepared, and bankers have the option to add comments about their personal experience with each of these issues.

As Congress begins the critical process of determining the items to consider in the coming months, it is imperative that bankers contact their U.S. senators and representatives to share their support on key issues affecting the banking community. MBA thanks you in advance for your advocacy on these issues. Please contact MBA if you have any questions.
