Overview

This two half-day course is designed to prepare consumer lenders to meet two primary challenges. The first challenge is to originate loans to qualified consumer and residential borrowers and minimize collection problems and loan losses. The second challenge is to be in compliance at all times with ever-changing fair lending regulations.

Day One - Consumer Loan Origination

In his banking career that spans 40 years, John Cochran has served in various lending and senior management positions, including president and CEO of a community bank. John established Cochran Associates LLC in 2000 to provide bank training and consulting services. To date, he has presented lending seminars for many state bank associations and annually participates in several commercial lending schools as a principal instructor or sole presenter. John also has served on the faculty of the Pacific Coast Banking School where he presented a series of lectures on credit risk management.

  • Nonmember Fee - $1980 per person
Note: MBA will issue an invoice based on initial registrations from a bank. Following the online seminar, we will review the attendee list and if additional bank employees attend, we will send a second invoice based on the above pricing to reconcile the difference.

Cancellation/Refunds

Full refunds will be granted for cancellations received by MBA at least five days before the seminar date. After that date, an administrative fee of $10 per canceled registration will be retained. Cancellations will not be accepted two days before the seminar. Substitutions are always permitted.
