Cannabis Banking in Missouri: Market Overview and Fundamentals

1:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 22

Overview

In 2023, Missouri’s cannabis market exploded because of the legalization of adult-use marijuana. Over the first two years of medical sales, the state’s program had generated around $600 million of revenue by the end of 2022. Once adult-use sales began in February 2023, those numbers increased dramatically. By the end of 2023, Missourians had purchased just shy of $2 billion worth of products, a majority of which came from the adult-use program. Additionally, one of the things that has been notable about Missouri’s rapid growth is that it seems to have come without many of the public missteps and controversies that have plagued some of the other states that went live around the same time.

This webinar presented by MBA associate member Green Check Verified provides Missouri banking professionals with the knowledge they need to engage with the legal cannabis industry in the state. Green Check Verified experience includes building and scaling cannabis lines of business with more than 150 U.S. financial institutions
