MBA established the Missouri Bankers Foundation in 1985 to provide funding for college scholarships for high school students planning to pursue banking-related college degrees. The foundation solicits and manages investments and distributes funds to support continuing education for Missouri bankers and individuals preparing for a career in the banking industry. The mission has been broadened through the years to include the following.

• scholarships for high school students planning to pursue banking-related college degrees
• scholarships for college interns at MBA member banks majoring in a banking-related discipline
• scholarships for young bankers already working in the Missouri banking industry
• an MBF Speaker Series
• the Robbery Reward Program
• the 50 Year Club recognition
• MBA Century Bank recognition
• the support of statewide financial literacy efforts 

Donations to the Missouri Bankers Foundation's Annual Fund and proceeds from MBA's silent auction and wall of wines raffle, held annually at MBA's Executive Management Conference, support these important programs and provide funding to increase scholarships. 

Contributions to the Missouri Bankers Foundation may be made by an individual gift, bequest, corporate gift or memorial gifts.
