The annual MBA Silent Auction & Reception has become an MBA Executive Management Conference
tradition. This year, the auction and Wall of Wines raffle will be held Thursday, Dec. 6, at The InterContinental Hotel in Kansas City.
Proceeds from this event support the Missouri Bankers Foundation’s education and recognition programs. The foundation provides scholarships for high school students planning to pursue banking-related degrees, as well as support for statewide financial literacy efforts, the foundation’s robbery reward program, Young Banker awards, a speakers series and recognition for both the 50 Year Club and MBA Century Banks.
MBA asks its member banks and associate members to consider a donation
to the silent auction. Popular items
donated in the past include the following.
- holiday items
- sports or concert tickets
- autographed items
- handcrafted or one-of-a-kind items
- cash donations (MBA will use your cash donation to purchase auction items, which will be credited to you and your organization.)
Wall of Wines Raffle
MBA is accepting wine and cash donations from its member banks and associate members for the Wall of Wines Raffle. Wine purchased with cash donations will be credited to you and your organization. Tickets may be purchased for a chance to win wonderful wine packages ... just in time for the holidays!
Donation forms for the silent auction

should be returned by Friday, Nov. 16
. Donated items may be brought to the conference, or items may be delivered to MBA's office by the Nov. 17 deadline.
