GSB ONLINE SEMINARS
The Missouri Bankers Association has partnered with the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison (GSB) to offer seminars for MBA members live over the Internet. Utilizing state-of-the-art audio and video technology, these new online seminars are designed to save both time and money for banks.
The GSB Online Classroom provides advanced management education seminars live over the Internet by some of today's top industry professionals. To date, more than 7,000 financial professionals have participated in a GSB Online Seminar since the program was initiated about four years ago.
Online seminar format:
These seminars are delivered live over the Internet using state-of-the-art audio and video technology to make the classes an interactive, hands-on learning experience for participants. The live, interactive online seminars are geared for senior management officers in financial institutions.
Seminar participants have the opportunity to ask questions via instant messaging links with the instructor or during "open mic" sessions and by participating in live opinion forums.
The cost for a seminar connection into the GSB Online Classroom ranges from $295 to $695, depending on the length of each seminar.
Seminars are divided into 60- or 90-minute classes with one class per week over a two to six-week time period. Registrants are welcome to invite other staff members to attend any of the live, online seminar sessions for the price of one registration.

The Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University has been has been educating young bankers to rise to senior position in their banks since 1950.
